Learnings of Life is an app in the making. This page explains what we keep when you visit and sign up for the beta, why, and how to have it removed. Last updated 14 October 2026.
Who we are
Learnings of Life is run by Ruben, in the Netherlands. For anything about your data, write to learningsoflife.community@gmail.com.
What we keep
- Your email address, if you sign up for early access.
- Your answers on this page: the one-minute body check, the state it pointed to, and what you said matters most to you.
- How you found us and what you did here: which ad or link brought you (the campaign tags in the link), and which parts of the page you opened, such as the walkthrough or the examples. These are stored under a random number, not under your name.
We don’t ask for your name, and we don’t store your IP address with your answers.
Why
- To invite you to the beta when a slot opens, and to send you updates about the app. This is why we ask for your email. Nothing else goes to it.
- To decide what to build first, from what people say they need and how the body check lands.
- To see which ads and messages reach the right people, so we don’t waste money on the wrong ones.
The legal basis is your consent when you sign up, and our legitimate interest in understanding how this page is used. Every email has a link to stop them. We never sell or share your data.
Where it is stored
In a database run for us by Supabase. The page itself is served by Netlify. Both only process it on our behalf.
Cookies
This page sets no cookies of its own. If we use an advertising measurement cookie, for example from Meta, we ask first, and it only loads if you say yes. Your answer is remembered on your device so we don’t ask again.
How long we keep it
Until the beta is over, or until you ask us to remove it, whichever comes first. If the app never launches, we delete everything.
Your rights
You can ask to see what we have about you, to correct it, or to have it removed, at any time, by writing to learningsoflife.community@gmail.com. We reply within a month, usually much sooner. If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Not medical advice. Learnings of Life offers self-regulation practices you can safely try on your own. It doesn’t replace care from a professional. If you feel unsafe, call your local emergency number, or find a crisis line at findahelpline.com.
